That'd be fine. I'd worry
Posted on March 5, 2008, 10:28 amThat'd be fine. I'd worry about the rubber bead coming out and losing the ring inside of a girl while you're having sex though, so I'd probably change to something else before intercourse.

Posted on March 6, 2008, 11:41 amGood deal. If you're planning on stretching it you may want to just wear the CBB all the time for the extra weight.. it'll help a bit.

You might want to make sure
Posted on March 6, 2008, 11:56 amYou might want to make sure you get Boroscilicate (Pyrex) Glass instead of Soda-Lime glass though...only because Soda-Lime isn't very shock resistant. That's not a place you want a ring to break.
I'm not sure if GG makes their rings in "Pyrex" or not.

I don't see a prob with it
Posted on March 6, 2008, 12:43 pmI don't see a prob with it either. I have no idea whether they have Pyrex. You'd have to look that up. I thought about glass before but decided against it because I tend to be physically active so...you know...if you fall. That could end badly. I didn't even want to put myself in that position. However I did buy a plastic captive bead ring for travel. Didn't find it that comfortable. The plastic tended to dry out and there was just too much friction...and not the good kind either.
I will add that I have these (4ga) Body Circle Designs rubber-ball-and-socket rings that are great. The balls never slip out and are safe for sex. Stainless steel rings with neoprene rubber balls. They're priced ok too. Not to mention very comfortable.

You can order neoprene balls
Posted on March 6, 2008, 5:13 pmYou can order neoprene balls to fit larger gauges and they'll fit glass or steel or ti rings...you can even order them in a couple different diameters. Very convenient for those who want to change jewelry regularly.

Awesome info guys thanks for
Posted on March 8, 2008, 4:07 amAwesome info guys thanks for all your help and definitely some good ideas for the future. Hadn't even thought to check to see what type of glass was in GG and will most definitely not wear it while active....unless you count running into walls on the way to the bathroom in the middle of the night(damn pesky things just come up and get ya when your not fully aware of your surroundings).
Thanks!

PLEASE don't waste your
Posted on April 27, 2008, 8:31 amPLEASE don't waste your money on those CBRs. They just wont work for your PA! Flat Tip Captives don't work, even in Steel. Plus the glass is too soft.
Look into Glassware Studios CBRs if GG can't make them smooth and in Pyrex (they should be able too, Gorilla rocks)
