Hi guys... I've not been around so much the last couple of months. Life, work and a shoddy net connection kinda made me go Tribe cold-turkey for a while!

BUT!... I'm being naughty and stealing the work net as I wanted to ask some advice!

I'm going to a fancy dress party. We can be anything at all, and for some reason, I'm going as Amy Winehouse(!!)... I've found some transfer tats that are copies of hers so have that side of the body deco sorted, BUT I want the lip piercing too!

As much as I love dressing up, I don't think work will appreciate me brandishing a new piece of face-metal (nor will the boyf!) so I need to know if there's a good way to fake it!

Thought about drawing one on but obviously not going look great and will prob smudge off in the alcohol/club-induced sweating! Ew, I know, but at least I'll look in character uTongue2

So, any other suggestions?? uBouncing

If you have an old CBR use that. Take the bead out and just slip it onto your lip.

I wondered about that, but have only ever seen her with a single bead on a bar rather than a CBR... sorry should have said this in the first place! Want to get it authentic haha.

And BK, I was debating drawing on a few track marks lol. I'm going to look like such a skank!

Worried I don't have enough hair to achieve the hive tho.

If you want just the gem, go to a dollar store something similar and you should be able to buy a pack of stick on gems.

I would go with Lily's suggestion. If you really want it to stay on well you can go buy some nail glue. I do warn you the stuff sticks well but I think the worst thing that could happen would the gem would be there for a day or two after.

I've seen white tak used for an eyebrow piercing, but used the eybrow hairs to stay in place, not sure how that would work for a lip.

And there are so many worse photos out there Sticking out tongue

Should've left you with my skin glue lol... But seriously, superglue should do the trick Smiling Take the ball off one of your cbrs (buy a cheapo one if you don't have em left?) and glue it on.

Before I got my microdermal, I wore stick-on bindis and gems. With the gems, I always used clear eyelash glue and it worked great -- it'd stick all day but came off easily when I was done. No mess. Smiling

Ooh eyelash glue sounds like a plan as I'm going to possibly get some fake lashes too! Thanks for the responses guys...

It's not happened yet... comign up on Weds 21st, I'm so freaking excited about dressing up as a bouffanted crack-head singer haha! People are going to have to watch out if the DJ plays any Winehouse tunes while I'm out hehe.

I'll definately post some pictures once it's happened!

Having a dilemma though, want the black hair for the night I dress up (I've had black hair for years!) but it's finally faded to the point where a hairdresser might actually dye it (I want a change from black and they always say it's too dark/too recently dyed to do)...

So if I stick another dye in it for Wino night they won't go near me for another few months... do I stay loyal to the Winehouse and dye it? (Even temp dye puts most hairdressers off for a while) or go as a faded, brownish reddish with roots winehouse like I currently am so I can actually get my hair done for the first time in 6 months, woot woot? Hmm. Life's tough ain't it Eye-wink uRolleyes

It might be on the right side of skanky to be perfect Wino material. You could always get washin/wash out spray dye. Colour FX Bad Words ? It's from Boots.
