Hey there fellow Tribers I have some exciting news I want to share with my second family. After 5 years one month and 5 days, my boyfriend has asked me to marry him. uLove Naturally I said yes and am SOOOOOO excited. I really never thought it would happen but sure enough, it did last night after an absolutely beautiful day together. We had some awesome weather yesterday and spend the entire day out like an old couple, I say that case we went to a couple of local parks and walked around and sat on benches. It was wonderful and romantic and we talked and talked and talked and then last night, he said it had been a perfect day and the question came. Ahhh, it was beautiful, and so is my ring! Anyway, I wanted to share that with you all.

Well my camera is plum out of order but I will describe it the best I can. It's rather unique so it might be hard to imagine. Anyway, it has a half carat princess cut center stone and four princess cuts down each side. The diamonds down the sides start larger near the center stone and taper to smaller stones at the bottom. Each of them, including the center stone, is placed in a kite set which means instead of being bumped up against each other on one of the flat sides of the square, they touch at the points. Because of that arrangement there are gaps where you can see complete through the ring which really makes the diamonds stand out. I gotta get my camera fixed cause the description just does not do it justice!

AWW!! Thank you everyone! I feel so totally blessed as I never thought I'd find this in my life. He is wonderful to me and the last 5 years have been the best. I am looking forward to all the good things to come. I find it funny though, I've lived with Jared for 2 years now and of course over the 5 years of dating gotten close to his family. When he called his parents to tell them we are engaged his mom was crazy excited. She even called me the next day and wanted to talk about wedding plans. I was like, doh! She is gonna be calling me every day now and we aren't planning on getting married for a couple of years yet.

We are looking at the end of Sep. 2009. I wanted a fall wedding but didn't want to do it in Oct. since thats when my birthday is. Alot will depend on him as well since he should be done with school right before that but if for some reason he isn't we would push it back to spring 2010 so we don't have to wait months to go on our honeymoon.
