I got my nostril pierced on the 20th, i've been cleaning it like my piercer said for me to, but my nose is really dry. Before I got pierced I put face lotion on everyday before going out into public, and even now I put the lotion on my outer cheeks, chin and forehead, but my nose is really dry... any suggestions?

Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed
And don't resent me
And when you're feeling empty

Leave out all the rest

How many times a day are you cleaning it? Too often could be drying it out...and what are you using to clean it??

the piercer just said for me to use some anti bacterial soap. and he said for me to do it 3x a day, but i've been doing it only 2x. it's my whole nose that's dry.

I'd cut back to washing only once, in the shower. You really don't need to wash it any more than that. Also, what antibacterial soap are you using? I highly recommend a soap like Satin or Provon. They are very gentle and a much better antibacterial soap than regular soaps.

i looked everywhere for Satin or Provon, and when I couldn't find it my piercer said for me to use Dial. He also told me to wash it 3x a day, and i only wash it 2x.
