Double-saddled plugs! Halp!

I just ordered carnelian, South China jade and rose quartz plugs using my giftcard that Phal got me for Christmas! uHappy

Buuuuuuut - I fail at getting them in my ears! The South China jade seemed to be the smallest saddles, so I tried those with some lube after the shower. I could get them half-in, but not all the way in. uFrown That makes me a sad panda.

My lobes aren't that stretchy, and I know this, but I really want to get these in, but also be able to change them out and stuffs. Any tips? How do you guys get the plugs in without having to completely taper up to the next size? I don't want to have to do that...

Are they 4g or 6g? How long have you been at a 4g?

I am 6g and have trouble with DF plugs on the removal stage.

Have you had any luck yet?

I put in 7/16" Df for the first time today. Haven't tried to get 'em out yet. When they give me trouble, I do a quick soak, and apply lube.

I used to have 4g ear lobes. My fav plugs were DF amber. Really looked good, but hurt like hell to put on/off. Usually did it in the shower, and left them on until I was dead sure I wanted to change 'em.

unfortunantly trin, the only way to get them in is to taper to the next size, and i feel your pain...i just got my 11/16ths in from baf today and in sitting here trying to figure them out ( dont quite want to fit in even though that's the size of the flair on my 5/8ths that go in and out like a breeze)

I had this problem for a long time with year-old 00gs (now well past that, haha).

I had a turquoise double and when I finally worked it in (not using lube or anything. I realised afterwards that it was a dumb idea) I'd ripped the back.

Definitely go for the tapering. Don't force it. =/ Good luck!
