I hate that too! I know what you mean about feeling like a bad piercing mother. It doesn't happen to my daith because it's nice and protected inside my ear but when I had my navel it got snagged or stepped on by my puppy no matter how careful I tried to be. One night in bed I was asleep and I vaguely remember becoming conscious and sliding my pajamas down a bit and the band grabbed hold of my piercing and yanked on it, hard. That woke me up!

Owwww!! Yes I remember the good old days of navel piercings lol, I just could not protect them, no matter how hard I tried!

Oh jeez! Scare me why don't you?! Haha, I have done a few "close calls" to being a bad piercing mother.

My latest close call was in the shower. I did a swivel around the stream of water to avoid the water directly hitting my breasts and accidentally let my nipple graze the wall of my shower. I froze and looked at my nipple that was touched and thankfully it was only "the meat" of the nipple that was moved. I still felt like I had a mini heart attack. Other close calls are just getting hit in the chest with doors opening, but it always seems to find the hard ribcage center between each boob.

I had problems with my rook, because I couldn't stop myself sleeping on it. It didn't hurt until I got up off it and felt it move back. This happened every night for three or four weeks. Unsurprisingly, it got some nice big scar tissue around it (which has mostly gone now with bigger jewellery and some scar oil). In the end I started sleeping next to a wall to stop myself.

Stoped me sleeping on that side, but i bashed my head/knee/foot every night for a week!

My rook's the same too...I got it pierced 3 weeks ago tomorrow and up until yesterday it'd been amazing. I could sleep on it, no crusties, no pain, nothing. Then all day yesterday it was throbbing like crazy and a bit red. So I got home and looked in the mirror and touched it quite lightly and a load of lymph came out. Then when I woke up this morning it hurt less and stuff but was all crusty

I knew it'd been going too well, something had to happen!

Yeah my tragus was also going OK for a few weeks (it's 6 months old and still doesn't want to heal lol) and then I had to go and pick crusties off it and make it angry again. No wonder it's not healing cos I always pick at it, I can't help it though!

This reminds me of healing my industrial piercing. The first couple of days were fine, but about a week after having it pierced I was sleeping and remember waking up just a little bit, brushing my hair behind my ear (the one with the industrial) and falling back asleep. I woke up a couple hours later with my ear filled with blood (literally), blood running down my neck, and dried blood in my hair. To make it better, I lived in residence at my university and shared a bathroom with the rest of the girls on my floor. SO, I had to walk down the hall with blood everywhere and clean it at the sink while girls came in and gave me horrified looks.

I'm also a bad piercing momma sometimes. I changed one of my nostril piercings when it was just 2 months old and it hated me for it. We're starting over again, the nostril and me. I think I'm back a little more healed than the point when I tried to change it before.

Then, I always have those moments when I get carried away and the nipples get more attention than they want too. I'm sorry nipples! I'll make it up to you, I promise! We can go to the zoo on Saturday!

I have said ouch a few times when the shoulder belt in the auto gets under the barbell. Now I run that belt under the arm rather than over the shoulder. The other time when it hurt like hell was when I got home from having it pierced. My bride did not know that it had been done and grabbed me by the nipple when I walked in. That sure wasn't foreplay.

I totally know what you are going through. I did something similar about a month and a half after getting my nipples pierced. I was standing in the doorway to my bedroom and went to take my shirt off. I didn't realize I was as close to the door frame as I was, hit my elbow on it which didn't stop me, then my watch bracelet caught my left barbell while I was pulling my shirt up...DAMN!!!! Yes...it was mad at me and yes there was some bleeding too but I couldn't help but laugh and neither could my GF at the time either. Of course she made fun of me...who can blame her for that? All I had to do to calm it down was a good SSS. Of course it was sore for a couple of days which reminded me to watch what the hell I'm doing.

I've also had a few "snag" rolling over in bed too with my nipples and my PA and not to long ago my Apadravya...but nothing major...well at the time my PA did get angry. That's what I get for sleeping naked. Oh well...I guess I'll learn or I won't...still haven't yet

But I've slept naked for YEARS, so it sucks to have to wear a singlet top to bed now

I know what you mean! I got a nostril and it's 3 weeks old now. Some days ago my boyfriend was trying to tickle me and while "fighting" he hit my nose and omg it hurt!!! The next day I had a lot of lymph around the stud, but that's all.

We were playing silent cow at a party, and one just completely rammed my rook. Aww man that hurt and bled for hours. I was not a happy bunny with him

It's the best party game in the world. Everyone closes their eyes and the host (or whoever) picks the silent cow but tapping them on the shoulder or whatever.

Open your eyes and dissapate around the house, swtiching off all the lights. The host (or whoever) says go.

Everyone is a blind cow and crawls around on all fours, saying moo when you hit another cow. If that cow says moo back, they are not the silent cow, and you move on. When you find the silent cow, you cling on for dear life and become silent yourself.

Game is over when everyone is part of the silent cow. the silent cow is allowed to move and hide (inside a bath is a good idea) but they must start in the open, and aren't allowed to go close cupboards and things.

I did it every bloody day with my brows. Every time i put a t-shirt on or a jumper on or off, i had the spikes on my eyebrows get caught - Though it was quite amusing when they were healed and my eyebrows were being moved up and down like a system of levers and pullys. Silent cow sounds good - im sure someones having a party soon lol

I hooked my body loofah thingy on my nipple once, and HARD! I almost cried. It ripped my nipple. But they are a year and a half old and still going strong so I couldnt have done that much damage yet lol. Then w hen I got my indy done and my mom grabbed my on both sides of my head with her hands to give me a kiss and I screamed haha.

I swear friends and loved ones can be your worst nightmare when you are trying to heal an ear piercing. While I was healing my industrial and my inner conch my friends always seemed to knock heads (and not lightly) with me whenever they hugged me. I quickly learned to dodge my one friend's hugs when she was drunk since she always left at least one of my piercings bloody and unhappy.

OMG Melmo that makes me shudder! Body loofahs are soo risky with piercings, I snagged my last ex-navel with it! When I scrub every week I put my free hand over my nipple piercing to guard it lol

I managed to beat my inner conch two days after I got it. It wasn't particulary convenient as it was at a funeral. It bled like crazy. It's hard to look serious when your ear is bleeding like a stuck pig. Hell, it didn't even bleed like that when I got it.

The nostril wasn't much better. I kept snagging it on my sunglasses. Septum wasn't an issue unless I was drinking soda. Go figure.

ohh CO2 backlash over a new piercing. That could really hurt. Would be funny to watch though

Sleeping nude seems to be the angry maker! I caught my watch (had the sport watch on for the alarm) on my nipple...angry for a bit...but no blood! I start my cardio program again after getting a double guiche three weeks ago. I'm hoping the new jock strap helps keep my rings in position so as not to irritate things any!

I just dropped the ball of my CBR down the sink whilst cleaning it I could hear it clinking all the way down.
