Cleaning question?

I got my navel repierced yesterday Laughing out loud and was told to clean it in the shower twice a day with the anti bac soap they gave me and also a spray twice a day (not H20). Should I also be doing sea salt soaks, or is that over cleaning?

Also do I have to have the bar changed after a couple of weeks when the swelling goes down? Or can it stay in for the whole healing period?

I would do sea salt soaks instead of using the spray. Sometimes when you're out and can't do a sss the spray comes in handy. So don't throw it out Smiling

The bar should stay in for the entire healing period. Unless it's causing a problem and needs to be downsized. Congrats on the new piercing and happy healing.

I just wash with soap while in the shower. You can do the sss once or twice a day.

Yeah I would just wash it once a day unless you got really sweaty or dirty and use sea salt soaks 2 or 3 times per day as you can find time. Just make sure you use the right amount of salt to water as to much salt isn't good. In addition, make sure you rinse it really well after each soak.
