I no longer think I'll be able to go. I will probably try to spend some free weekends in San Francisco now when I have a chance...hopefully.

Josho, Myth and C will benefit from that, lol. And I get to meet KMar! But I will miss out on the Chicago meet. I won't go to the Canadian meet, either.

I'm not sure if I will be able to make it now. I'd love to be able to meet everyone and I'm sure the meet will be a blast, but I have some other travel plans coming up and I'm not sure I can do both.

I plan on going. I've already requested off for it, but I haven't bought a ticket yet. The only thing that could stop me from attending is if I meet someone special and want to spend time with them instead. I can only hope....

i'm still hoping to go. but, it's looking like i'll be buying a new car around that time... so i guess we'll see what happens. i pulled for chicago, so it'd be a drag for me if i didn't end up going.

Kitty said something about the Sheraton near Ohare and I had enough points to get a free room so that's where I'm booked. But I'm nobody and can get a room anywhere if everyone wants to stay somewhere else...hell I can sleep in a van down by the river

I can't seem to find the same super cool rates for the Sheraton anymore. Bastages....

Anyhow - my CC has a very very small limit so I also need to find a hotel that only takes the CC number to hold a reservation but doesn't charge anything to the card.

Anyhow - I would like a head count as soon as possible to who wants to stay in my room/suite so I can figure out approximately how much its onna cost per person. PM me.

When traveling I booked rooms in Cambridge and London Ontario on my CC and payed with cash when I arrived. I told them up front that I would use cash upon arrival. I never had a problem. The only way that it would have been charged was if I had been a no show. I think that the problem that you tribers are going to have if you are scattered all over the city is logistics. Where are we going to be and when? Well anyway enjoy.

Problem is internet rates are way better than direct rates, but the catch is usually to book online. When I have a set number of people I will look into either group rates or see if I can book with my card and use cash to pay upon arrival.

I want to go but it's still questionable due to no work, i have a couple interviews now at least, so i'll have to see how they go. If I get one of these jobs i'll buy a ticket within the next couple weeks. And shooter, i'll probably end up sleeping in a van down by the river!

The Cubs are actually favored to win the Central this year. I'm hoping to see Pinella lose it and get ejected while we are there.

Not sure if Rob and I can make it for a whole weekend of amusement parks etc. We have the pups and all. Plus we have to see if it falls on his weekend off. If we can we will be able to come for a night and put the dogs in the doggie day care for a night and thats about it. Or just drive up for an afternoon. Its about a 3 hour drive. But we can't leave them over night unless we find a doggie sitter or the doggie day care. It will just depend on the money situation.

I'm getting a new (well..new for me) car on Monday, and the payments for that + insurance will set me back.. I'll know if I can afford it when the time gets closer.

My plans have changed, Pinks (drag racing show on speed channel) is filming an "All-Out" episode in the St. Louis area (Gateway International speedway)the smae weekend...so that's where I will be...watching some good ol'fashion run what you brung drag racin

YA Rob and I still have to see if we will be able to go. Just depends if he will be off both days that weekend or if we have to drive for just a day. Kinda looking like we might not make it though. But we will see.
