It looks normal to
Posted on December 4, 2008, 8:21 amIt looks normal to me...
Looks like it could just be crusties.
And in the master’s chambers,
They gathered for the feast
They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can’t kill the beast

I'm sure it's just stuff
Posted on December 4, 2008, 9:07 amI'm sure it's just stuff that's not coming off when you do your soaks.
Try this:
--First, do your sea salt soaks
--Then, take a long, hot steamy shower
--Then, (still in the shower) take a teeny bit of dilute soap, froth it up with your hands to make suds, and layer the suds around the piercing.
--Wait one or two minutes. (if you want, and the piercing cooperates, you can manipulate the piercing around a bit at this point. Don't force, and don't spin!)
--Rinse well.
--dab a little bit of oil around the piercing (almond, jojoba, emu, olive). This will help keep the crusties off.
That's basically my own aftercare (though when I do herbal soaks I reverse the order of the shower and soaking since there's no salt to rinse off).
That will get pretty much everything off your piercing (but remember new stuff will form all the time)
