Wait....lets get this
Posted on October 29, 2008, 7:28 pmWait....lets get this straight.
You aren't a piercer and you are planning on piercing your gfs finger and bending a pre-existing un-autocaved ring?
You need to see a pro to do that, plus finger piercings don't fare well.
You are better off buying jewelry that is made to your specifications than trying to alter something you already have.

YOu can use a circular
Posted on October 29, 2008, 9:50 pmYOu can use a circular babrell and put a dimpled captive bead in the center to make it into a finger ring type ring. You will need to measure her finger to find the right diameter for the jewelry though.

No, i'm planning on having
Posted on October 29, 2008, 10:30 pmNo, i'm planning on having her close her eyes and put out her hand for me to put the ring on. Then setting my ring, that is in my apadravya already on her hand. It will be a ring on her finger alright, just not the ring she was thinking. Not pierce her finger or make her a ring to wear, just a ring for her to enjoy. But nvm i took an old barbell that is too long and bent it with ease with no heat, just a pair of double round nose pliers. So i'm just going to get two new straight barbells and make both L shaped, about 120° to 130° bends. One enters through top and one enters through bottom both exit urethral opening. One will have a captive ring ball and all other three balls will be just regular round oversized balls. Thanks for your help though. This is going to be priceless.

Hmmm I think if you put a
Posted on October 30, 2008, 3:01 amHmmm I think if you put a barbell made into a ring on her finger instead of a ring she is expecting she is going to greatly disappointed. Who knows maybe not. But when a guy says he will put a ring on your finger she is expecting an engagement ring, not a barbell made to look like one. Again I could be wrong....let us know her reaction.

I always thought a hose
Posted on October 30, 2008, 2:50 pmI always thought a hose clamp would be an awesome impromptu engagement ring.
But I'm weird.
If anyone else wants to know, no, heating the stainless will not harm the finish (so long as it isn't coated). It will look like crap until you clean the black gunk off (soot from whatever you heated it with) and it may form colored layers of oxidation which you may or may not think are really cool. But if you DON'T think they're really cool, if you have access to any polishing equipment it comes right off.
It will be likely to change the characteristics of the metal though. Make it harder or softer, depending on how you heat it (that's how annealing is done: heat the metal and cool it *slowly*). It's hardened by heating it a cooling it *quickly* and tempered by heating it to a certain temp after that is done (the colors of oxidation are used as a guide to tell the temperature for tempering.)

Really, it's more difficult
Posted on November 11, 2008, 2:43 pmReally, it's more difficult to harden by heating. In fact, I know that heating anneals (softens) it. But, it might harden due to the fact that he's working the metal, and metal work-hardens.
Trust me, I'm going to school for something that involves a lot of metal and soldering...anytime we solder something, it softens the metal, even if we spray it off with H2O immediately.
Now, cooling metal, especially quickly, such as cryogenic freezing, it becomes harder.
A lot of the hardened metal that I work with is work-hardened.
Put clever signature line HERE.

What kind of metal are you using?
I have been taught to forge iron and have forged, welded, annealed and tempered different types of steel. Heating the metal and then cooling it quickly causes it to harden. Some metals are air-hardening, some require water and some require oil. That's how they've been doing it for centuries.

Posted on November 20, 2008, 11:02 pmIt was great!! I was all romantic, fixed dinner, had candles going, music playing, and was completely serious the whole time (which was the hardest part). I told her there was something i wanted to give her but she would have to close her eyes. I had her hold out her hand, opened an empty jewelry box in my pocket for the proper sound. Then just barely touched her finger with the ring so she could feel the metal. She gasped and opened her eyes in surprise and looked down. Then gave me this face:
and punched me so hard in the stomach I doubled over and almost threw up because I was laughing so fu(king hard when she hit me. Later that night after she calmed down she tried out the ring and really, really liked it.
Thanks for everyones input on how to bend the metal, cool the metal, etc... I posted a pic of my G ● ring under the apadravya piercing photos if anyone want to see how it turned out.

What if she had retracted
Posted on November 23, 2008, 9:09 pmWhat if she had retracted her hand in surprise?
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing?
Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able, and willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing?
Then why call him God?
