Posted on December 1, 2008, 10:17 amNo, I know how to cite things, I just need the format for the review. The structure of it, I guess, is what I'm needing. I've done a lot of different documents but this is the first time I've had to do a review like this. I don't want to mess up it up and I've heard my teacher is being really difficult about it.
My secondary research is a bitch. Two of my sources are 71 page and 38 page documents I bought online - sooo long. As for primary, I have a focus group of 20, which isn't bad for a high school project, haha. It's similar to last year when I got myself into a maximum security prison to interview violent criminals and was paying gang members (like, real ones, not the ones at school) in alcohol to do one-on-one interviews. I don't do things half-assed, haha. I'm surprised I came out of that unscathed. This time it's research on family structures so it's not going to be dangerous.

Sorry gbp, never used that style, I used to use MLA, but we focused mainly on Jane Schaffer.
ETA: I'm not sure if these will help or not, but what the hell I'll post'em:

APA and MLA is the devil.
Posted on December 1, 2008, 11:16 amAPA and MLA is the devil. I'm all about the Chicago Manual of Style and its stripped down version Turabian.

I have found Hacker to be
Posted on December 1, 2008, 11:44 amI have found Hacker to be the best source on APA. I had to use MLA for all of my BS course work but for some reason (same school) my MBA and MSHR were APA...go figure.
I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by 6
