Wear rubber gloves...like
Posted on August 25, 2008, 2:30 pmWear rubber gloves...like latex one the piercer uses. Also if its a barbell...which I am assuming it is since its a tongue piercing, why do you need both balls off? As long as one ball comes off you can take it out. But on that note as well if your tongue is very new you probably shouldnt be taking out the barbell until its fully healed.

Posted on August 30, 2008, 9:30 pmso, you're switching the balls so you can wear the longer bar?
are you sure?
'cause shorter bars, or at least bars that fit your tongue well, are better, to minimize damage to your teeth and gums.

One thing... are you totally
Posted on August 31, 2008, 5:00 pmOne thing... are you totally sure the bars are double threaded, as in each end of it has threaded beads?
Not all bars can have both ends taken off, most do, but not all.

Posted on September 1, 2008, 3:25 pmyea all of the bars are double threaded. also the longer bar is only a bit bigger then the correct size for my tonuge. it is on an angle along with my tongue being big so it does not hit my teeth or gums. should i still be worried and switch to the shorter bars?

Why don't you just purchase
Posted on September 3, 2008, 1:08 pmWhy don't you just purchase new balls rather than a barbell that you probably will not use.
