Anchors on feet?!

Hey guys,

I haven't been here much since the forum was redone, how do you all like it? I'm still debating. Smiling Good to be back though.

So I have a question about dermal anchors. I like to be difficult and think I can do whatever I want... so I was thinking a dermal anchor on the top of each foot. The main problem I see is there not being enough flesh, so what are the chances of this piercing healing? My piercer made me a deal though, he won't charge me for the procedure since he doesn't think they will heal.

What do you think? Summer is coming up and I'm a sandal lover as well as flats so personally, shoes are not an issue.

I've already decided to go through with it, I should be getting my fat tax refund too!

I think that if your piercer is going to do a freebee thinking that they will not heal I would wait until some of the other tribers chime in as to their experiences with ther dermals. I do not have any so I can't make a judgement. If it can be done without them rejecting, have at it.

I've seen a girl on IAM with them and I sent her a pm but she hasn't got back to me yet. I'm really hoping to hear from her.

My piercer, I had him do my pubic anchor, and he was even hesitant on that because of the area(jeans rubbing, sex, masterbation etc) It's doing awesome so far and none of those are issues.

Tegaderms will be your best friend. It will stick out a lot since the tissue will not be thick enough to get the post fully implanted into the skin.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing someone on Modblog with microdermals on her feet and then joined up like a corset...

FWIW,
I lost my pubic anchor after a year and a half or so. I wasn't really getting any for the first year, and then after I started dating my gf, and started subjecting it to regular 'activity', it rejected. It didn't hurt or anything, just thought I'd chime in.

My piercer did one on a big toe, and it wasn't a good placement. Good luck with it - they now have 16ga anchors. Those might be better for a hard place like a foot...
