at the airport
so i've been getting poked for almost 3 years now. first nipple rings, then scrotal rings, then a PA. everytime i go through airport security, i think about setting off alarms, but most people that have the same amount (or more) of jewelry i have say they never have a problem. and i've never set anything off, but recently...
i was traveling from tulsa to home, and my flight got cancelled. then rescheduled. then cancelled again. by the time i got to security, my ticket had so many flags on it...so of course i was selected for a "routine" luggage search. this of course, included me "getting the wand"... as a young agent went through my luggage, and older guy was wanding me. first, i set it off because of the rivets on the hips of my jeans. he let that go (after a friendly government massage). then he passed the wand over my right chest and it beeped. i said to the guy "i have jewelry there" -- he looked puzzled (remember, i'm in tulsa) and said "what?" the young guy overheard and said "his nipple is pierced." the old guy said, "oh" and patted my chest to be sure. then we had to repeat the whole thing on the left side...more beeping, more patting. THEN, he passed the wand in front of my crotch, resulting in more beeps. i think by this point the old guy was afraid to ask what was going on down there, so he said, "that's just your zipper, right?" by this point i just wanted to be done, so i let him believe what he wanted to believe...!

It peeped around my crotch and he said do your know why it would be peeping there. I said yea, I have a PA piercing, and he had no idea what that meant. I freeball, so I unzipped my fly, and tried to pull it out. The guy said whoa, we will have to do a strip down with a witness. This guy was at least early 60`s year old, and came back with a young guy is his 20`s. We went behind a portable curtained off area, and he said drop your trousers, lets see what the hell you are talking about. The older guy went running out saying "OH MY GOD, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF". The young guy wanted to hold it and wanted to know all about it. He was totally fascinated with the idea. The other excitement was the curtain was not shut all the way on the end and people waiting for their flights could see in and had big smiles on their faces. The final kicker was, that it was my shoes that set off the alarm and the young guy said I do not have to take any piercings out, just tell them they are their, before they wand you. Other guys have told me they got scanned on a random search and they just did a pat down, and got gropped by the scanner, that dwelled while squeezing their dick, and the guy got an erection.

Although it would be quite the sight! Right now I am at a 2 ga PA and 8 ga nipples.....as you have experienced it already, would these set off the wands and sensors?...I am thinking I may just remove them when I get to the airport and put the hardware back in after the security!

However, if they choose to pull you aside and use the wand, THEN you would create some beeps! Once you explain you have "personal jewelry," most agents would probably let you go. Some may want to take a look, tho!

She was not informed of an option for some reason and is now suing them. A pat down could be awesome too, depending on who was doing it!
