after piercing a friend of mine (frenum piercing) I decided I wanted to have a new piercing myself, hehe, so I took a curved barbell, marked the spots (from thumb web in the direction of my wrist, on the surface), took a needle and poked it in my right hand with my left hand (no, I'm not left handed). I saw the needle moving under my skin and tried to push it out when it reached the other marking. that was a hard job, and it hurt like hell. eventually it went through the skin and I took the barbell, pushed it through the hole while removing the needle with my teeth (my friend who was going to help me had an urgent phone call). after I got the barbell in the hole, I screwed the ball on, and later my friend helped with this, because I couldn't screw it thight on the barbell. the piercing is now almost 2 months old, still haven't got any problems with it.
