Please whenever you want a piercing go to a professional piercer. Not a tatoo shop that does piercing. An actual piercing shop specializes in piercing. I just got my rook done for the second time and the pain was like night and day from the first one. My first one was done at a tatoo shop and it was misplaced and evetually migrated out. Not to mention how painful it was. My second rook piercing was very quick with little pain and very professional.They also said if you get it pierced w/ a barbell it won't heal nearly as quickly so the majority of knowledgeable shops will only pierce w/ a captive bead ring.
