I went to Off the Wall on 44th Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan to get this done. I was actually pretty nervous because I had watched my friend get hers done and she almost passed out and said that it was rather painful plus I asked the chick doing it if hers had hurt and she told me it was probably her most painful. I sat in nervous anticipation while she cleaned my nose and opened the clamps and everything else. After I approved where she had marked my nose I was ready. When she put the clamps on I was fine but still nervous and almost asked her to put them on tighter so that I wouldn't feel the needle but thought against it because of bruising. She told me to take a deep breath in and pushed the needle through. Although it made my eyes water it really only stung like a paper cut for a few seconds and then it was fine. Didn't even hurt when she put the hoop in and closed that up. Now three days later it's a little sore because I'm sick and I keep bumping when I blow my nose, but it's starting to heal nicely. I recommend this honestly. It's really not quite as bad as everybody has you believe plus it usually looks super cute.
