After a long summer of waiting, today I finally got my nose pierced. I researched it and first talked to my parents about it 2 months ago, and they finally agreed. I'm 17...and I turn 18 in 3 weeks, but I wanted to have something new to show off when I go back to school. I went to a studio that had been recommended by a friend, and it totally paid off. My mom and I filled out paperwork, and the owner of the shop took me to the back and I sat down in what looked like a dentist chair. The room was really clean, and my piercer was super nice to both me and my mom. He set up and got ready, and I was able to see that everything he was about to use came from different packages. That made me feel pretty good about it, but I was still freaking out nonetheless. He put a dot on my nose, and had me look in a mirror to make sure I was happy with it. It was fine, so I sat back down and he explained everything he was about to do. He put a clamp on my nose that looked sort of like forceps, and he took a few seconds to line everything up. He told me to close my eyes and stay relaxed. I breathed in, breathed out, and the needle went in. I was pretty much in shock because of the lack of pain. I was so suprised how little it hurt!! It felt like pressure on my nose, but it was far from painful. He put the jewelry in, and it wasn't bad either, just a little uncomfortable. It was over so quick, and I love the way it looks.
