well...how to start...it all started with a conversation on the phone...i had had thoughts of having my tool pierced on and off for a while and i had brought it up with my best friend...she replied "you don't have the balls!" well, testosterone got the best of me and i took the dare seeing as i was curious if i had the balls myself. a little under a week later after doing a little research about piercing studios around town i decided on body rites in indiana. Well i was unsure of myself to start with, but the guy that ran the studio was out when i got there so it gave me about 30 minutes to compose myself. Up until this point i'd only had my ears pierced, so i had no idea what lay ahead...well brent got back from whatever he was doing and had me sit down and fill out some waiver forms while he prepaired the area...after he came back i was shaking (did i mention i'm afraid of needles?) and grinding my teeth so he told me "let me put on some music to loosen you up." the next thing i hear over the PA system is slipknot full blast, looking back he did me a favor by giving me something aside from the pain to focus on, but the first thing through my head was "oh i'm gonna die...i'm gonna die...i'm gonna die" well, i was in good hands and after he had me lay down he told me to take three deep breaths...i had no idea what i was in for. the next thirty seconds were what i would relate to giving birth...the twelve hours of labor and everything. though i probobly only say that because he paused halway through and gave me false hope of it being over with. well, after it was all over the best natural high i've ever had kicked in and i was estatic. i paid the man and stopped by the grocery to pick up some sea salt and dial soap. it's been a little under a year since i've had it pierced and i can honestly say that it's one of the best things i've ever done. sex is better for everyone, self confidence is at an all time high and i've become kinda addicted to piercings since then. i do have a warning though...i got a reverse prince albert....and when they tell you "don't have sex for X amount of months" LISTEN TO THEM! about two months after getting pierced i decided that it had healed up and that it was safe to experiment. it wasn't. i watched some porn for a while and got off, and then i lost about a half a pint of blood (may have been less but it was GUSHING out of both holes and i knew i was in trouble.) so follow all of the guidelines. i didn't have to go to the hospital luckily but i did pay for it in the sense that it took a couple extra months to heal up. oh, and a note on the reverse PA...if you're thinking about stretching it. 8 gauge was easy for me, but 6 gauge was a bitch in every sense of the word, i'm not sure about 4 or 2 yet but i'll be sure to post when i find out.
